Our
Projects
Here is a list of a few of the projects we have completed over the years.
Garage Cupola in Newport
We had a small 800 square foot garage that was originally shingled. We had to tear off the old shingles, apply 4 new 4'x8' sheets of plywood due to rot. We then installed Ice and Water shield, cedar breather, cedar shake, fabricated on-site hip and ridge caps, and installed a Weathervane Cupola.

Asphalt in Portsmouth
This is a custom build we did. We installed white aluminum drip edge, ice and water, synthetic paper, and GAF Charcoal Black Shingles.

Asphalt Portsmouth Roof
Another custom build we did using GAF Charcoal Black shingles.

New GAF Pewter Gray Roof in the point of Newport RI
We tore off one layer of old shingles and installed GAF Pewter Gray shingles, two bathroom Broan bathroom vents on the roof, and a roof boot for the bathroom vent pipe, and we re shingled the back shed as well! Very tight location, but we made sure to keep both houses on the left and right side covered with tarps while we worked to ensure no damage to the neighbors houses while we removed the layer of shingles.

Slate Roof in Newport Rhode Island
This was a 3 phase process roof we did. We cut a hole in the roof to make room for a beautiful mahogany walk out deck, that sits on top of a rubber roof with PT sleepers to ensure no water leaks down into the house. Also not pictured is a Solar Powered skylight on the street side of the photo. This deck overlooks the Green End Pond, and Easton Pond along with the cathedral from St. Georges. We then installed two custom copper scuppers which allows drainage from the deck, and topped it off with 3 copper ridge caps on the two dormers and the main ridge. We also worked with New England Grill and Hearth to install a vent for their gas insert fireplace.

Upper Sherman
A lovely home needing some new lead around the chimneys along with a new roof!

Sherman Street
Here is an old home in the historic district of Newport that needed a new roof, siding, trim and more! See the following photos for a before and after. A funny story about this project, as we were removing the old roof on the garage, we found a snake on the roof!

"Full Cry"
The Carriage House
Full Cry was originally built to be the Carriage House to Roslyn. Full Cry is a separate property located just below the main home Roslyn off of Beacon Hill Road. It was designed by William Ralph Emerson, and erected in 1890. Below we renovated in late 2025. We installed new Pella windows, Red Cedar shake siding, trim, slate repairs, along with new copper ridges, and drip edge.
Spring addition
Here at this home we installed a new rubber roof. After that we raised all the windows on second floor to a height of 6'-8''. Then, installed new Pella Windows for the customer around the house where architects plans called. Next, installed vertical shiplap siding on new third floor addition. Installed a small mahogany deck on the back of the house. Finished off with patching in cedar shake siding where old windows were filled in, and where the windows were raised. It is now ready for paint!
